An optimistic long-termist, Bogdan likes to build relationships that pay off over decades, not years. Hailing from Romania, he moved to the US to study Chemical and Industrial Engineering at the University of California. As a systems engineer at Emerson and Altura, he developed critical infrastructure facilities for Genentech, Adobe, and Broadcom, among others, before receiving his MBA from UC Berkeley.

At Evergy Ventures and Union Labs, Bogdan invested in several companies across climate and deep tech, including Raise Robotics, SirenOpt, and Librestream. He loves to coach founders through deeply technical tradeoffs, leveraging his robotics and automation experience.

In his personal time, Bogdan enjoys deepening his meditation practice and the thrill of mountain biking.
