Ryan believes technical depth is a pre-requisite to informed strategy. His “mile deep, mile wide” investing style integrates first-principles reasoning, unit economic models, and high level pattern-matching. With a strong bias for autonomous systems, he also leads S15V’s R&D efforts on RAG-enabled research tools.

At AI Fund, Ryan built startups across domains like distributed training, swarm intelligence, and privacy. Prior to venture, he led product teams at Uber and Spiketrap (acquired by reddit) building NLP and spatio-temporal applications.

A Texas native, Ryan earned his bachelor’s degree in finance and economics at Georgetown University. He is a voice actor, powerlifter, martial artist, and owns two parakeets, Kiwi and Meimei.
